We operate a stunning property in the wild mountains of Idaho, recommended by Forbes and by our own employees, who return year after year for unforgettable work-life adventures, memories, and friendships. Sitting on top of the world at an elevation of 5,000 feet, Shore Lodge and McCall’s rugged mountains, glacier-carved lakes, and ancient hot springs are a thrill-seeker’s paradise.

Originally built in 1948, The Shore Lodge & Whitetail Club is a full-service, year-round destination resort entertaining locals and guests with our extraordinary service. We surround our friends, guests and members with amenities like lakeside dining at The Cutwater and The Narrows Steakhouse, and treatments at The Cove Spa (Idaho’s only 4 star spa with indoor and outdoor immersion pools). Add golf, a fitness center, and our own marina – and you have what many have considered, “Quite possibly the perfect summer job – offered year around!” And, if you are interested in growing your career, we do that too!

It’s not just breathtaking scenery and the adventures that make Shore Lodge a magical place to work: it’s the people. It’s the way we treat our staff and how coworkers come to feel like family, that keeps employees coming back year after year.

We are currently focused on filling 250 openings for the summer season, though we operate year-round and do have permanent positions. Our employees join us from around the world and come from many different backgrounds and age groups.

Each season brings distinct opportunities for Idaho adventures. In summer, Ponderosa State Park is perfect for a day hike or camping. In winter, neighboring Brundage Mountain boasts excellent snow for skiing and snow boarding.

From the action-packed to the serene, the lush landscape of our backyard calls to doers and dreamers alike. What could you do on a day off in McCall? Will you go paddle boarding and read by the lake, enjoy live music with coworkers, or test your limits with a challenging hike to a waterfall, then kick back at a local brewery? The sky is the limit.

Great team and coworkers in the boutique department. Supervisor treated everyone like equals and provided flexibility to us when something went wrong or we needed days off. The company itself was a great environment, beautiful view by the lake and all the staff in other departments were always so nice and friendly. We got access to a free (delicious!) meal per shift and also access to the gym with complimentary classes. Other amenities included pool table, shuffle board, TV lounge, fun employee parties with dinner and entertainment, great health insurance and paid time off benefits, discounts on all the food, activities and other amenities provided at the lodge along with a free golf day! Loved working there and enjoyed upper management along with all the other employees.
