First Light Wilderness Therapy, Dahlonega , GA

First Light Wilderness Therapy is a behavioral health program for struggling teens in the wilds of Georgia.

Our team provides safe and therapeutic wilderness experiences for groups aged 12 to 17 years old, both male and female. Our Wilderness Instructors co-lead groups of up to ten students on backpacking, canoeing, and outdoor expeditions, teaching wilderness and life skills and working with First Light therapists.

We use trauma-informed care & wilderness intervention therapy and focus on building healthy relationships with the teens in our program and their families.

Wilderness Instructors will work an 8-day on/6-day off schedule in the Northern Georgia wilderness.
