Travel For Teens, Various Locations Worldwide -

Travel For Teens (TFT) provides meaningful educational adventures for teens in the US and abroad. Our programs range from outdoor experiences in the Alpine regions of Switzerland, France, and Italy, to cultural exploration of Budapest, Krakow, Vienna, and Prague, to time spent in nature in the US National Parks, and much more! Some of our programs are service-based, others are geared more toward outdoor adventure or becoming immersed in the local culture. There is something for everyone.

We are looking for passionate staff who are kind, responsible role models, and have intimate knowledge of the regions we travel to. Do you enjoy inspiring youth? Do you believe experiential education is crucial to growth and development? TFT staff have the unique opportunity to work with teens in incredible countries all around the globe. Experience working with 12- to 19-year-olds is a must. Applicants must possess proven leadership skills. We seek out flexible individuals who work well on a team, have great stamina, and are physically fit. A clear head in unusual circumstances and an ability to change roles quickly is important.

Applicant Requirements:

Be able to attend a staff training weekend June 3-5, 2022 in the United States (Philadelphia) or attend virtually if you are unable to travel
Fully vaccinated
Staff who can commit to two summers will have preference
At least 21 years old
Experience working with teens
Experience living, traveling or working in one or more of our destinations

As a team member, you will have little private time and will share rooms with other staff, so you should be comfortable in this type of communal setting.

Counselor responsibilities include, but are not limited to: executing the program itinerary, ensuring the safety of the group, encouraging social cohesion and setting a positive tone at all times, on-site teaching, making sure that the participants are having the time of their lives, and a wide variety of errands, tasks, and odd jobs.
