Originally built in 1948, The Shore Lodge & Whitetail Club is a full-service, year-round destination resort entertaining locals and guests with our extraordinary service. Great team and coworkers in the boutique department. Supervisor treated everyone like equals and provided flexibility to us when something went wrong or we needed days off. The company itself was a great environment, beautiful view by the lake and all the staff in other departments were always so nice and friendly. We got access to a free (delicious!) meal per shift and also access to the gym with complimentary classes. Other amenities included pool table, shuffle board, TV lounge, fun employee parties with dinner and entertainment, great health insurance and paid time off benefits, discounts on all the food, activities and other amenities provided at the lodge along with a free golf day! MASSAGE THERAPIST SUMMARY:

Our successful Cove Massage Therapists perform various massage modalities and body treatments. They possess a high level of guest interaction, greeting guests, reviewing guest’s needs, tailoring treatments and performing treatments. Our therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of our guests. They are enthusiastic, professional and talented staff who build repeat clientele and receive glowing reviews for our 4 Star Spa, The Cove. All Spa Therapists are required to maintain their state licensure and continuing education requirements.

WHO ARE WE?

Our Spa Therapists are excellent listeners with strong work ethics and they understand that customer satisfaction takes priority. As a member of the Spa team, this position is responsible for creating an atmosphere that inspires our members and guests to return.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Perform massage therapy services in an appropriate, therapeutic manner maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Be punctual to scheduled shift and appointments.
Identify possible contraindications, requests or issues before performing massage for a guest.
Assist guest in enjoying their entire experience at The Cove and throughout the property.
Set-up, breakdown and clean-up assigned workspace(s) and assist in maintaining guest and staff common areas.

Act as Customer Service Representative of The Cove, Shore Lodge and Whitetail properties.
Assist, as needed with stocking supplies, retail, laundry, locker rooms and reception duties as needed.
Recommend and promote retail product, re-booking appointments and other treatments on Spa menu

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Idaho State Massage License (State Requirement)

Minimum of 500 hours of massage coursework completed at an accredited school.
Minimum of 1-year hands on experience required and 3+ years preferred.
Background check and 2 professional references required.
Experience working in a customer driven environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, management and guests.
Ability to work with a team and maintain a daily schedule of clients.
Maintain continuing education courses in massage specialty.

Experienced in the following modalities: Swedish, deep tissue, sports, aromatherapy, hot stone massage
Preferred experience in one or more of the following specialties; reflexology, prenatal and myofascial.

LANDSCAPING TECHNICIAN SUMMARY::
Our Shore Lodge Landscaping Technicians are a passionate, driven and invested group, who create our first impressions by beautifying our property. These professionals work to keep our landscapes, irrigation systems, paths, walkways, and parking lots clean, and well maintained. They are a busy and physical group who take pride in their work. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Perform varied landscaping duties while working on our beautiful grounds
Maintain drains, blow and bag leaves, remove snow, mud, and debris
Prepare flower beds, complete spring and fall grounds clean up
Keep all pathways and parking lots clean, maintain pool areas to meet resort standards
Complete fertilizer applications on turf and planted areas.
Safely operate utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris; ie: sod cutter, trencher and/or tamper for routine projects.
Replace exterior lights and verify working order
Hold responsibility for completing assignment sheets/check lists daily
Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
Attend staff meetings and other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Ability to safely operate small machinery, hand held and walking equipment.
Self-motivation, the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/assignments without supervision.
A love of the outdoors and working in different types of weather, enjoying physical labor.
Ability to re-prioritize and move between projects as needs change and pick up where you left off.
A basic understanding planting/landscaping and irrigation systems.
Strong communication skills for guest/member and internal team interaction.
Possess a valid Driver’s License and clean Driving Record.
High school diploma; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior hotel/Resort experience coupled with customer service industry background preferred.
Previous landscaping experience also preferred.
