As a leading provider of government support services, with nearly six decades of experience, PAE provides trusted stabilization, development and national security support services to customers around the world. PAE is seeking experienced professionals to support an exciting mission with the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Operations.
There are three Antarctic research stations supported by PAE and the United States Antarctic Program: (McMurdo, South Pole, and Palmer), as well as the two Antarctic research vessels the NBP and LMG.
The majority of our employees deploy during the Austral Summer season which begins in October/November and goes through February. For those that aren’t afraid of weathering a winter season in the coldest, driest, most remote location in the world…the Austral Winter season deploys from February through October/November.
While working as a vehicle operator, electrician, firefighter, heavy equipment technician, or any other skilled trade position that PAE staffs on station, our employees are provided with the opportunity to support scientific research in a very unique way. They are able to work in support of something purposeful while residing in one of the most challenging and amazing locations in the world…Antarctica.
