Orcas Hotel is a small, independently owned hotel and caf on Orcas Island in northern Washington. We are hiring Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team for the busy summer season, with opportunities for year-round work.

This role is ideal for cooks who value a friendly, ego-free kitchen culture and take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Line cooking during service
Prep and station setup/breakdown
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Supporting teammates during high-volume service

Pay & Benefits

$18/hour base pay plus tip pool
- With tips, hourly pay typically averages ~$24/hour in the low season and significantly higher during summer
Shift meals and dining discounts
Subsidized employee housing may be available ($500 $950/month)
Seasonal and year-round positions available

Qualifications

Prior line cook experience required
