New Vision Wilderness Therapy, Medford, WI

New Vision Wilderness Therapy offers programs in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin for youth and families impacted by trauma. With the help of our therapists, field instructors, and our entire team, we create safe place of acceptance and support where youth struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and attachment can begin to make healthy changes in their lives.

In our outdoor style location in Medford, where the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest covers more than 1.5 million acres, you will help guide our students through adventures and build positive relationships. Here, we offer youth a “build them up” philosophy, focusing on their strengths, and encouraging growth in those areas. The emotional and physical safety of our students always comes first. Our programs are rewarding, fun, and challenging, for both our students and our staff!

Our program serves pre-teens and adolescents. As a wilderness instructor, you would be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our students, helping them to restore to healthy mindsets.

As a Lead Wilderness Therapist, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director, Clinical Director, Administrative Team, Program and Operations Staff focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

Join our team and play a role in our important mission!

Take it from our staff:

If you want to make a difference in the lives of troubled kids, this is the place to go.

You are able to enjoy the outdoors and stay fit. I was able to learn so many communication skills that I will have for a lifetime. If you don’t have proper gear the company lets you borrow what you need to be comfortable and safe.
