Do you want to live and work in the alps in Bavaria, with an incredible team of friendly and caring people?

Then you’re in the right place. Edelweiss Lodge and Resort is nestled at the foot of the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain. It is a resort for military personnel and their families. They are our only guests, and we give them the amazing experiences we think they deserve.

Our live-in staff are treated to majestic Alpine views right outside their bedrooms. From the dorms, it’s easy to access the regional beauty and cultural events that make Bavaria so special.

And there are MANY. You’ll get to enjoy the cultural Garmisch-Partenkirchen Fest, drink beer in a Bierhall during Oktoberfest, and attend the historic Passion Play.

You’ll be right in nature, with opportunities for skiing, rafting, hiking, and lots more. Hang out on the lake Eibsee or take in the breathtaking Höllentalklamm Gorge. There are few place more beautiful to spend your free time.

I went because I wanted travel. I visited 26 countries in 13 months, it was incredible!

There are a few tasty eateries on property that you may work at. Ziggy’s Base Camp is a mountain-style alehouse serving pizzas and comfort food. Market Station is our classic buffet. The Pullman Cafe offers grab-and-go lunch and locally roasted coffee.

How can you get a job at Edelweiss Resort and Lodge?

Jobs at edelweiss Edelweiss Resort and Lodge require a 15-month commitment; no more, no less. Applicants must be US citizens with a valid passport. Most positions are entry-level and pay $9.07 per hour. Hours range from 20-40 per week.

Meals: Staff are responsible for their own meals. There is a grocery store within walking distance. Food is available for purchase at our restaurants.
