Cradle Mountain Lodge is widely considered one of Australia’s iconic wilderness experiences. Located on the edge of the spectacular World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, one of Tasmania’s premier wilderness regions.
Tasmania is located 450 kilometres below Victoria, over the Bass Straight. Commonly known as “The Apple Isle” Tasmania is an agricultural state, renowned for its outstanding produce, breathtaking scenery and extraordinary wildlife; Tasmania really is Australia’s best kept secret! From deserted beaches to enchanted forests and small country towns, this oversized island offers something for everyone.
Our staff numbers vary from 80 employees during winter to almost 100 during our summer peak season. Approximately half of the team live on site in our staff village, with the remainder living in nearby towns.
